V bakalářské diplomové práci se autorka zabývá popisem a výzkumem ideálního partnera z pohledu studentů psychologie. Teoretický rámec tvoří především problematika partnerských vztahů se zaměřením na jednotlivé teorie zdůvodňující výběr partnera. Výzkum autorka prováděla kvantitativní metodou pomocí dotazníkového šetření. Výzkumný vzorek tvořili studenti psychologie, kteří vyplňovali dotazník v online podobě, který autorka šířila příležitostným výběrem a metodou sněhové koule přes sociální sítě. In the bachelor diploma thesis, the authoress deals with the description and research of the ideal partner from the perspective of psychology students. Theoretical framework consists mainly of partner relationships with focus on the theories justifying the choice of a partner. The research was conducted quantitatively via questionnaire. The research sample consisted of students of psychology, who completed the questionnaire in the online form, which the authoress spread with occasional selecting and using the snowball technique across social networks. The research was attended by 200 respondents, of which 26 men and 174 women. In the research part, the authoress uses nonparametric methods to examine the validity of the hypothesis. The hypothesis did not confirm that the selection of respondents stressed the similar properties such as was their mother (u properties of rigor and care), further it did not confirm that the respondents toward whom the mother behaved coldly and uncertainly in childhood doubted more the existence of the ideal partner, nor that the men wanted more partners in a lifetime than women. Results based on research questions have shown that there is a difference in the preference of some properties among respondents who had a lasting relationship and those who did not have one. These differences are also reflected in other data analysis on the basis of personal characteristics of the respondents.
