Obsahuje porovnávání ve vybraných charakteristikách vzdělávacích systémů: řízení školství, struktury školských systémů, financování školství, organizace výuky a přístup ke čtenářské, matematické a přírodovědné gramotnosti. Odpovídá na otázku, zda existují společné rysy vzdělávacích soustav úspěšných zemí v testování PISA a společné rysy neúspěšných zemí.. -- Abstract: This work deals with the search for common features of educational systems of six countries (Germany, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Austria and Sweden) selected on the basis of their success or failure in the PISA testing between 2000 and 2009. It contains a comparison of selected characteristics of educational systems: management of education, the structure of school systems, educational funding, organization and approach to teaching reading, mathematical and scientific skills. It answers the question of whether there are common features of successful educational systems of countries in the PISA testing and common features of failed countries.
