Standardní a latinskoamerické tance jsou sportovní disciplínou spojenou s velkým zatížením dolních končetin. Vyžadují přesné provedení pohybu, stabilitu a neuromuskulární koordinaci. Standard and Latin dances are a sport discipline with great demands on lower extremities. These dances require precise execution of movement, stability and neuromuscular coordination. A special type of shoe is used by dancers, that especially by women significantly changes the position of the body and the loading of the lower extremities. These facts contribute to overloading of the musculoskeletal system, which results in frequent injuries occurring especially in the lower extremities. The aim of this study was to assess the effect of dance training on dynamic parameters of the contact between the foot and the floor during walking, and its changes during dance training. The research sample consisted of group of 16 dancers, members of the dance group QUICK Olomouc (8 men, 8 women, mean age 21.1 ? 2.4 years, weight: males 71.9 ? 10.1 kg, females 57.3 ? 4.3 kg). The dynamic plantographic platform Footscan was used to measure the stress placed on feet during walking. Only in the group of women were found statistically significant changes of the measured parameters. The increase of the loading in lateral forefoot area and decrease of loading in the heel area was found while comparing the measurements before and after the training session. Our findings indicate the impact of dance training session on the stress placed on feet of women.
