This Bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the study of synthesis curcumins, their derivatives and biological activity of these compounds. The practical part is focused on the synthesis of diester derivatives of curcumins which are substituted in position 4 of the unsaturated parts of the alkyl chain and their heterocyclic analogues. Furthermore, the partial acid or basic hydrolysis and aminolysis of these derivatives. All reactions carried out on these derivatives were unsuccessful.
