Diplomová práca predkladá ucelený pohľad na počiatky, vývoj a teológiu večierne (večerných chvál). Predstavuje nám samotný význam a hĺbku tejto modlitby. Táto večerná bohoslužba je chválou krásneho Božieho diela stvorenia, ktorým sa začali naše dejiny. Pozornosť je venovaná nedeľnej večierni, ktorá je oslavou víťazstva Krista nad smrťou. Kristus vo večernej modlitbe je predstavený ako Svetlo tiché svätej slávy, ktoré osvecuje každého človeka.The thesis submits a compact view on the beginnings, emergence and the theology of the vespers. It presents to us the very significance and deepness of this prayer. This evening service is a praise of the beauty of the God's creation, thru which our history has begun. The attention is given to the Sunday vespers, which is a celebration of Christ's victory over the death. Christ is in the evening prayer presented as the silent Light, which enlightens every man.
