Práce je rozdělena na dvě části - na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část charakterizuje frazeologii jako dílčí disciplínu lingvistiky, seznamuje nás se základními rysy a pojmy, věnuje se znakům a kvalifikaci frazeologismů. Praktická část se zaměřuje na formální a sémantickou analýzu vybraných frazeologismů z povídky "Ruth" od německé autorky Judith Hermann.. -- Abstract: This thesis deals with idioms in a fiction text. The work comprises two parts - a theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical one describes phraseology as a sub-discipline of linguistics, introduces us to the basic features and terms and deals with characters and classification of idioms. The practical part focuses on the formal and semantic analysis of the idioms selected from a short "Ruth" by the German author Judith Hermann.
