Hlavní otázkou je zjistit, jaké poznatky a informace byly o dané problematice publikovány. Potermínová gravidita je v porodnictví běžně se vyskytující jev, z něhož vyplývá jen nízké absolutní riziko. Přístup k potermínové graviditě může být expektační a aktivní. Bakalářská práce se věnuje vymezení pojmu potermínové gravidity, problematice stanovení délky gravidity, určení termínu porodu a shrnuje poznatky týkající se rizikových faktorů a příčin vzniku potermínové gravidity. Popisuje hlavní metody preindukce a indukce porodu i rizika z těchto postupů vyplývající.. -- Abstract: Bachelor thesis presents informations about the management of a postterm pregnancy. The main issue is to determine what knowledge and informations has recently been published on the subject. Postterm pregnancy is commonly occurring phenomenon in obstetrics, which shows only a low absolute risk. Approach to postterm pregnancy can be expectational or active. This thesis deals with the definition of postterm pregnancy, the issue of determining the length of gestation, the determination of term of birth and summarizes the findings regarding risk factors and causes of postterm pregnancy. It describes the main methods of cervical ripening and induction of labor and the risks resulting from these procedures.
