Práce si klade za cíl analyzovat téma ekologie v poezii Garyho Snydera, a to konkrétně v básních Control Burn, Front Lines, Mother Earth: Her Whales a Tomorrow's Song.Práce pojednává o životě v místě. Všímá si pozitivního vlivu tohoto způsobu života na ochranu životního prostředí.Práce pojednává o způsobu života, ekologických znalostech a kultuře původních Američanů a původních obyvatel v ostatních částech světa, kteří žili či stále žijí na svých prastarých kmenových územích v úzkém sepětí s místní přírodou.Práce si všímá i faktorů které způsob života a kulturu těchto původních obyvatel v současné době ohrožují.Práce porovnává jaký vztah k přírodě mají lidé, kteří v místě žijí, se vztahem k životnímu prostředí u lidí, kteří v místě nežijí.The aim of this work is to analyze the theme of ecology in the poetry of Gary Snyder, especially in his poems Control Burn, Front Lines, Mother Earth: Her Whales and Tomorrow's Song.The work deals with the theme of life in a place. The work observes positive influence this way of life has on environmental protection.The work deals with the way of life, ecological knowledge and culture of Native Americans and other indigenous people living in other parts of the world who lived or still live in their ancestral territories in a close relationship to nature.The work observes the factors that endanger the way of life and culture of these indigenous people nowadays. The work compares the relationship people living in a place have towards nature with the one of people who do not inhabit any place.
