Tato práce se zabývá frazeologismy, zvláště jejich překladem. Teoretická část popisuje typy frazémů, kontrastivní/ konfrontativní frazeologii, typy ekvivalence a problematiku překladu frazémů. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na analýzu frazeologismů v díle Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach ?Meine Kinderjahre?. Cílem této praktické části je srovnání těchto frazeologismů s jejich překladovými protějšky ve dvou různých českých překladech. První překlad je od Lucy Topoľské ?Má dětská léta: životopisné črty? a druhý je od Dagmar Jugasové ?Moje dětství?.This thesis deals with idioms, in particular with their translation. The theoretical part describes types of idioms, comparative phraseology, types of equivalence and the issue of the translation of idioms. The practical part focuses on the analysis of idioms in the work of Marie von Ebner-Eschenbach ?Meine Kinderjahre?. The aim of this practical part is the comparison of these idioms with their translation counterparts in two different Czech translations. The first one is Lucy Topoľská's ?Má dětská léta: životopisné črty? and the other one is Dagmar Jugasová's ?Moje dětství?.
