Dělí se na dvě části. První, rozsáhlejší část obsahuje exegezi čtyř perikop (Jan 7,24-30; 8,48-59; 10,11-18; 17,24-26), v nichž se vyskytuje Ježíšovo tvrzení, že zná Otce, a to přímým způsobem, to znamená, že Otec je předmětem slovesa "znát", jehož podmětem je Ježíš. Výkladu každé ze čtyř perikop je věnována vlastní kapitola, nichž je evangelní text podroben analýzám synchronního typu: lingvisticko-syntaktická, sémantická, narativní a pragmatická analýza. Pak je perikopa znovu čtena v širším kontextu, potom v původním historickém kontextu. Vyvrcholením každé ze čtyř exegezí je teologická reflexe zaměřená na vlastní téma této práce, tj. na Ježíšovo poznání Otce ve vztahu k jeho synovskému bytí a poslání ve světě. Druhá část práce je více systematická. Znovu se zaměřuje na téma Ježíšova poznání Otce ve vztahu k jeho (synovskému) bytí a k jeho poslání, nyní však při tom vychází z celého evangelia, aby se téma ukázalo v širších souvislostech, na pozadí všech výpovědí Janova evangelia o Ježíšově poznání, bytí z Otce a poslání. Cílem je ukázat jednotu celého Janova evangelia právě na základě spojení tří zmíněných motivů.. -- Abstract: This thesis considers the relationship between Jesus' knowledge of the Father, His own being from the Father, as well as His mission in the world, from the Gospel of John. It is divided into two sections. The first, more extensive section, contains an exegesis of four pericopes (John 7:24-30; 8:48-59; 10:11-18; 17:24-26), which occur in Jesus' claim of knowing the Father directly. Here, Father is the object of the verb "know". Jesus is the subject. The interpretation of each of the four pericopes is explained in its own chapter. The text is subjected to several synchronic types: linguistic, syntactic, semantic, pragmatic and narrative analysis. Then, the pericope is reread in a broader context and in its original historical context. The culmination of each of the four exegeses is a theological reflection focused on the subject matter: Jesus' knowledge of the Father in relation to His sonship, His being with the Father, and His mission. The second part of the thesis is more systematic. Again, it focuses on the theme of Jesus' knowledge of the Father in relation to His sonship, His being, and His mission. Now it comes out of the entire Gospel which shows the topic in a broader context, in the background of all the testimony in the Gospel of John concerning the knowledge of Jesus in the three areas. The aim is to show the unity of the entire Gospel of John on the basis of connecting the three themes.
