Jejím cílem bylo zjistit, jak tento proces probíhá a jaké efekty na jedince ve skutečnosti má. V jednotlivých kapitolách je pak popsán vývoj migrační politiky ve Vlámsku, samotný integrační proces a jeho efekty na participaci. Dále se zabývá kritikou politiků na současnou integrační politiku a kritikou samotných alochtonů na podobu integračního procesu.. -- Abstract: This thesis focuses on the problem of immigrant integration into the Flemish society. Its aim was stating clearly, how this process proceeds and what effects does it really have on particular individual. The respective chapters focus on the development of migration politics in Flanders, the integration process itself, its effects on participation and possible improvement of these effects. Further more, the thesis focuses on the politicians? criticism of the integration politics and the immigrants? criticism of the integration process itself.
