Diplomová práce mapuje informovanost seniorů v oblasti týrání a zneužívání seniorů a zjišťuje, zda existuje signifikantní rozdíl mezi místem pobytu seniorů a výskytem týrání a zneužívání. Těžiště práce tvoří kvantitativní průzkumné šetření pomocí dotazníku. Analýza a interpretace získaných dat poskytuje informace o úrovni informovanosti seniorů v oblasti týrání a zneužívání, o tom zda existuje rozdíl v míře týrání u seniorů žijících doma a u seniorů žijících v domovech pro seniory.The diploma thesis is exploring the level of awareness of elderly people about the harassment and abuse of seniors, and it discovers whether there is a significant difference between the residence of seniors and occurrences of harassment and abuse. The principal part of the thesis is a quantitative survey by means of a questionnaire. The analysis and interpretation of obtained data provide information about the level of awareness of elderly people about the harassment and abuse, and discover whether there is a difference in the level of harassment of seniors living at home compared to seniors living in institutional retirement homes.
