Cílem práce bylo aplikovat metriky podobnosti na parametry využití území Evropských měst a hledat skupiny podobných měst. Metriky byly použity na sto vybraných měst, jak na jádro města (core), tak na jeho funkční území (FUA). V první části byly staženy data z datasetu Urban Atlas, které musely být následně zpracovány pro další použití v této práci. Dále byly využity metody výpočtu parametrů, a to metoda sumarizačních tabulek, která probíhala v softwaru ArcGIS Pro nebo MS Excel a následně metoda s využitím prostorových metrik, které byly vypočítány dvěma způsoby, a to za použití softwaru FRAGSTAS a add-on pluginu Patch Analyst pro ArcMap. Vypočtené parametry sloužily jako vstup do shlukovacích analýz, díky které byly zjištěny skupiny podobných měst. Výsledkem práce je kvantitativní porovnání skupin podobných měst podle využití území, které je doplněno vizuálními ukázkami shluků podobných měst.The aim of the work was to apply the parameters of the similarity metric to the land use of European cities and to search for groups of similar cities. Metrics were included for one hundred selected cities, both for the city's core (core) and its functional area (FUA). In the first part, data was downloaded from the Urban Atlas dataset, which had to be subsequently processed for further use in this work. Furthermore, parameter calculation methods were used, namely the method of summary tables, which took place in the ArcGIS Pro or MS Excel software, and then the method using spatial metrics, which were calculated in two ways, using the FRAGSTAS software and the Patch Analyst add-on plugin for ArcMap. The calculated parameters served as input to cluster analyses, thanks to which groups of similar cities were identified. The result of the work is a quantitative comparison of groups of similar cities according to land use with added visual comparison.
