Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá zobrazováním smrti ve fotografii. Práce vychází z teoretického rámce tvořeného vymezením problematiky vzniku fotografie a počátků zobrazování smrti ve fotografii. Práce popisuje vybrané fotografie představující smrt od vynálezu fotografie aţ po současnost. Závěrečná část práce je analýzou části tvorby Jamese Nachtweye. Práce obsahuje fotografie s explicitním, ale i latentním zobrazením smrti. Hlavním cílem je zodpovědět otázku, zda je správné smrt fotografovat a tyto fotografie publikovat.This bachelor thesis deals with displaying death in photography. The thesis is based on a theoretical framework composed of defining the beginnings of photography and beginnings of displaying death in photography. This thesis describes selected photos representing death from the invention of photography to the present. The final part is an analysis of James Nachtwey's work. Thesis includes photographs with explicit, but also latent display of death. The main goal is to answer the question whether it is right to make photographs of death and to publish these photographs.
