Tato práce se zabývá rozdíly mezi tlumočníky a tlumočnicemi při tlumočení genderově orientovaných a genderově neutrálních témat. Praktická část práce zkoumá genderové rozdíly v používání jazyka a znalostí různých témat. Praktická část obsahuje empirickou studii, která zkoumá nahrávky tlumočníků a tlumočnic a hodnotí je pomocí informací zjištěných v první části práce.This thesis focuses on the differences between male and female interpreters when interpreting gender oriented and gender neutral topics. The theoretical part examines gender differences in language use and topic familiarity. In the practical part, an empirical study is conducted and male and female interpers' recordings are assessed using the findings made in the first part of the work.
