Práce obsahuje také okolnosti vzniku a literární a teologický charakter Janova evangelia. Dále jsou zmíněna povolání učedníků u synoptiků, povolání celníka a vyvolení Dvanácti.The main part of the thesis is a commentary on the first meeting of disciples with Jesus, as it is described in the Gospel of John 1:35-51. The thesis also contains the circumstances of origin and literary and theological character of the Gospel of John. Further mentioned are the professions of the disciples in the synoptic gospels, the profession of a toll-collector and choosing the Twelve.
