The aim is to acquaint the reader with the alternative care system, foster care, and SOS Children's Villages which are connected with foster care. Finally, it is necessary to clarify the current issues of transformation and unification of system of care about vulnerable children. The practical part deals with the transformation from the perspective of the Director of SOS Children's Villages.
