Tato studie je věnována analýze ligatur v české variantě charvátské hranaté hlaholice na materiálu rukopisu Bible z Emauzského kláštera (14.-15. století). Cílem práce je prozkoumat strukturu, funkce a srovnávací znaky ligatur, které hrály klíčovou roli v adaptaci hlaholice na zvukové a gramatické zvláštnosti staročeského jazyka. Na základě analýzy 17 stran rukopisu byly potvrzeny hypotézy o dominanci dvoupísmenných ligatur, jejich roli v úspoře prostoru a stabilizaci grafických norem, stejně jako o samostatnosti české tradice. Práce přispívá ke studiu kulturní interakce v rámci slovanského světa, ukazuje roli Emauzského kláštera jako centra uchovávání cyrilometodějského dědictví. Výsledky jsou relevantní pro paleografii, lingvistiku a historii slovanských písemných tradic a nabízejí nové perspektivy pro výzkum adaptace hlaholice v českém prostředí.The study is devoted to the analysis of ligatures in the Czech redaction of the Croatian angular Glagolitic script, based on the Bible manuscript from the Emmaus Monastery (14th-15th centuries). The aim of the work is to examine the structure, functions, and comparative features of ligatures that played a key role in adapting the Glagolitic script to the phonetic and grammatical peculiarities of Old Czech. Through the analysis of 17 manuscript pages, hypotheses about the dominance of two-letter ligatures, their role in saving space and stabilizing graphic norms, as well as the autonomy of the Czech tradition, have been confirmed. The work contributes to the study of cultural interactions within the Slavic world by demonstrating the role of the Emmaus Monastery as a center for preserving the Cyril and Methodius heritage. The results are relevant to paleography, linguistics, and the history of Slavic written traditions, offering new perspectives for research on the adaptation of the Glagolitic script in the Czech environment.
