Bakalářská práce se zabývá Otevřeným dopisem ministru kultury jako druhu performativního jednání. V práci si kladu tyto základní a propojené otázky jaký dopad měl dopis (a na něj provázané diskuze) a jak tuto úspěšnost v poli jako je česká kultura určit? Výzkum je založen na kombinaci metod kvalitativního výzkumu rozhovorů s klíčovými aktéry ohledně motivace k jejich "jednání dopisem" a zúčastněného pozorování v rámci Nerůstové skupiny. Tato data jsou spojena se samotnou analýzu vzniklého textu jako druhu performativního jednání, přičemž pro rekonstrukci pole, kde se toto jednání uskutečňuje, využívám přístup Pierra Bourdieu a uchopení pojmu performativita dle J. L. Austina. Pro upřesnění pozic v tomto poli využívám pojem ideologie, jak jej nastavil C. Geertz. Výzkumná otázka byla položena hypotézou, že dopis a diskuze, spíše než základ dialogu s veřejnou správou, zviditelnil téma ve veřejném prostoru a nastolil dialog uvnitř umělecké komunity. Tato hypotéza z výzkumu byla potvrzena. Na otevřený dopis se tedy dívám jako na základ různého druhu jednání uvnitř nerůstové skupiny i jednání směrem k veřejnosti. Výzkumná otázka je podložena hypotézami, že dopis, spíše než základ dialogu s veřejnou správou, zviditelnil téma ve veřejném prostoru a nastolil dialog uvnitř umělecké komunity.The bachelor thesis focuses on the Open letter to the Minister of Culture as a kind of performative action. In the thesis I ask the following basic and interconnected questions: what impact did the letter (and the ensuing discussion) have and how to determine this success in a social field like Czech culture? The research is based on a combination of qualitative research methods of interviews with key actors regarding motivations for their "action with the letter" and participant observation in the context of Degrowth in the culture, an initiative which wrote the letter. This data is combined with an analysis of the resulting text itself as a kind of performative action, using Pierre Bourdieu's approach and J. L. Austin's grasp of the notion of performativity to reconstruct the field where this action takes place. To specify the positions in this field, I use the notion of ideology as set up by C. Geertz. The research question was supported by the hypothesis that the letter and the discussion made the topic visible in the public space and established a dialogue within the artistic community, rather than being the basis of a dialogue with the public administration. These hypotheses, based on the results from the research, were confirmed.
