(206 918 znaků). -- Ved. práce Ondřej Svaček. -- Oponent Martin Faix. -- Abstract: Diplomová práce se zabývá událostmi na Ukrajině, a především na Krymském poloostrově, na konci roku 2013 a v první polovině roku 2014. Tato významná geopolitická událost, která otřásla světem, je analyzován z mezinárodněprávní perspektivy. Důraz je kladen především na komparaci vnímání krymské krize západními představiteli nauky mezinárodního práva s pohledy ruských autorů. Ze závěrů srovnání je patrný diametrální rozdíl v chápání a interpretaci týchž událostí. Analýza zároveň směřuje ke zjištění, zdali je argumentace ruských představitelů mezinárodněprávní nauky v souladu s platným mezinárodním právem, přičemž závěry vykazují znepokojivě negativní trend a značnou chaotičnost a nekonzistentnost doktríny. Ve spojení s tímto práce ve svém závěru rozkrývá dalekosáhlejší implikace ruské akademické reakce na události na Krymu, a to v podobě posuzování stavu akademické svobody v Ruské federaci, která zjevně zaostává za mezinárodními standardy a je v mnoha rovinách pod kontrolou režimu.. -- Abstract: This diploma thesis deals with the events in Ukraine, and especially on the Crimean Peninsula, between 2013 and 2014. This important geopolitical conflict, which shook the world, is analyzed from the perspective of international law. Emphasis is placed primarily on the comparison of the perception of the Crimean crisis by Western representatives of the doctrine of international law with the views of Russian authors. The conclusions of the comparison show a notable difference in the understanding and interpretation of the same events. At the same time, the analysis aims to determine whether the arguments of Russian representatives of the doctrine of international law are in accordance with applicable international law, with the conclusions show a worryingly negative trend and considerable chaos and inconsistency in the doctrine. In connection with this, the thesis, in its conclusion, reveals the more far-reaching implications of Russia's academic response to the events in Crimea by assessing the state of academic freedom in the Russian Federation, which clearly lags behind international standards and is under the control of the regime on many levels.
