Práce pojednává o situaci Židů v prvních letech Československé republiky. Cílem práce je analýza vybraných českých a moravských periodik v letech 1918 - 1923 a charakteristika obrazu židovského obyvatelstva v těchto vybraných novinách. V teoretické části je popsána historie Židů v Čechách a na Moravě od 19. stol. s nejdůležitějšími událostmi, které ovlivnily postavení Židů v dalších letech. Praktickou část tvoří stručná charakteristika periodik u nás, obecné informace o vybraných novinách a samotná analýza.The thesis deals with the situation of Jews in the early years of the Czechoslovak Republic. It aims at analysing selected Czech and Moravian newspaper from 1918 to 1923 and characteristic of the Jewish population image in these papers. The theoretical part describes history of Jews in Bohemia and Moravia from the 19th century as well as the most important events that affected the position of Jews in years to come. The practical part consists of a brief characteristic of periodicals in the Czech Republic, general information about selected newspaper and the analysis itself.
