Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na objasnění pojmu "pečující osoba", kterou se pro účely této práce rozumí osoba, která pečuje o jinou fyzickou osobu (blízkou či jinou), závislou na péči jiné osoby podle zákona č. 108/2006 Sb. O sociálních službách, postavení pečujících osob z hlediska sociálního a zdravotního pojištění, výhody a nevýhody péče, význam sociálních a návazných služeb pro pečující osoby a otázky zaměstnání pečujících osob. Praktickou část práce tvoří výzkum s cílem zjistit a zmapovat současné možnosti podpory, potřeby a přání pečujících osob žijících ve Zlíně a okolí a zpracování analýzy těchto potřeb pro účely plánování sociálních a návazných služeb.The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on clarification of the term "caring person" which for the purposes of this thesis shall mean a person looking after another (close or other) individual dependent on someone else's care in accordance with Act No 108/2006 on social services, the status of caring persons concerning social and health insurance, the perks and drawbacks of care, the importance of social and consecutive services for caring persons and the issues of employing caring persons. The practical part consists of research which goal was to find out and map present options of support, needs and wishes of caring persons living in the town of Zlin and its surroundings and elaboration of analysis of these needs for the purposes of planning the social and consecutive services.
