Předkládaná bakalářská práce se snaží vykreslit sociální postavení žen ve společ-nosti v době Starého zákona. Na ženských biblických postavách přibližujeme so-ciální status tehdejší ženy z pohledu Božího řádu, dále z pohledu muže a ženy. První kapitola krátce vysvětluje základní pojmy. V druhé kapitole je popsáno postavení ženy z biblických zpráv o stvoření člověka a z Desatera. Ve třetí a čtvrté kapitole je rozebrán mužský a ženský pohled na ženu. A v páté kapitole je rozebrána sociální role ženy (královny, prorokyně a otrokyně). Vybrané biblické ženy Starého zákona jsou sledovány v jednotlivých sociálních rolích z pohledu rodinných příslušníků, širšího společenství a nakonec z pohledu tehdejší ženy. Významnou roli zde sehrávají reakce na Boží oslovení, zaslíbení a řešení životních nesnází. Sociální postavení ženy je vykresleno v daném historickém a nábožensko-sociálním kontextu. Rovněž je popsán sociální fenomén profétie (kap. 5) a to v obecné rovině. Závěr shrnuje poznatky o těžkém údělu žen v patriarchální společnosti. Smyslem kritiky je tedy pojmenování starých modelů a rolí utlačované ženy a dominantního muže v tehdejší starozákonní době, vyslovení etického hodnocení, hledání nových úhlů pohledu.The proposed bachelor?s disertation strives to portray the community social status of women at the time of the Old Testament. On the example of some biblical female characters we present the social status of a woman in those times from the perspective of Divine order, and further from the perspective of a man and a woman. The first chapter briefly explains the basic terms. In the second chapter the status of a woman is described by means of biblical accounts about human creation and by means of the Ten Commandments. In the third and fourth chapters, the man?s and woman?s views on a woman are analysed, and in the fifth chapter the social role of a woman (queen, prophet and slave). The selected biblical women of the Old Testament are traced in individual social roles from the perspective of family members, broader community and finally from the perspective of a woman at that time. Reactions to addressing of the God, vowing and solving of life?s difficulties also play an important role here. The social status of a woman is portrayed in a given historical, religious and social context. Also a social phenomenon of prophecy (chap. 5) is described, on the general level. The conclusion summarizes findings of hardship of women in a patriarchal society. The purpose of the critique is to name old models and roles of an oppressed woman and a dominant man at the time of the Old Testament, to express an ethical evaluation and to search for new points of view.
