The diploma zhesis is concerned with a comparative investigation into the speed of germination of five selected types of moss under laboratory conditions. The research took place over the period, October 2004 to June 2005. During this time, a series of four experiments were conducted. The results are recorded in the tables and depicted in accompanying graphs.
