Práce se zabývá problematikou přechylování jmen ženských zahraničních celebrit v českých elektronických médiích. Její teoretická část se zaměřuje na výklad o vlastních jménech a jejich gramatických kategoriích a přináší přehled pravidel pro přechylování příjmení podle vybraných současných českých mluvnic a elektronických zdrojů ÚJČ AV ČR. Výzkumná část vychází z dat Českého národního korpusu (konkrétně korpusu online_archive) a je věnována analýze vybraných jmen ženských zahraničních celebrit z hlediska přechylování jejich příjmení, a to se zřetelem k různým adaptacím, k nimž u daných jmen dochází, a k druhům médií, v nichž se jednotlivé výskyty nacházejí. Zpracování výsledků analýzy bylo realizováno v souladu s výzkumnými otázkami formulovanými v úvodu práce.The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of gender inflection of surnames of female foreign celebrities in the Czech electronic media. Its theoretical part focuses on the interpretation of proper nouns and their grammatical categories and provides an overview of the rules for gender inflection of surnames according to the selected current Czech grammars. It also presents the current wording of the Registry Act, which legislates the issue of surnames and their gender inflection in the field of official registration and outlines what the current social debate on this topic looks like. The research part of the bachelor thesis is carried out by using corpus data of the Czech National Corpus (specifically the monitoring corpus of the Czech Internet public communication called online_archive) and it is devoted to the analysis of selected names of female foreign celebrities in terms of gender inflection of their surnames. The individual examined surnames are divided into research groups on the basis of their linguistic origin - namely surnames of Slavic origin, English origin, German and Scandinavian origin and French origin. In the course of the analysis of individual selected names, it is observed how these names are spelled and also whether they are formed in accordance with the rules for gender inflection of surnames stated in current Czech grammars. Furthermore, the analysis focuses on what types of media the individual occurrences of these names are found in and what influence the given range of media has on the final treatment of the name, i.e. how much the type of media in which the occurrence is found effects the gender inflection of the surname and spelling of these names. At the end of the bachelor thesis, the results of the analysis are evaluated and then other possible areas of research are presented.
