V teoretické části této bakalářské práce byla napsána extenzivní rešerše ohledně plodiny T. aestivum, možností šlechtění této plodiny a také o viru Barley Stripe Mosaic Virus, který byl použit jako vektor pro tuto plodinu. V praktické části bakalářské práce byl proveden kompletní postup infekce T. aestivum virem BSMV; od samotné práce s plasmidy nesoucí tento virus, transformaci E. coli i A. tumefaciens, agroinfiltrace N. Benthamiana, fluorescenční mikroskopie až po samotnou imbibici semen T. aestivum virovým homogenátem a následné potvrzení infekce fluorescenční mikroskopií, díky reportérovému genu gfp, jež virus obsahoval a exprimovalIn the theoretical part of the thesis, an extensive research was written on the topic of wheat, the means of its improvement via breeding, and also about Barley Stripe Mosaic Virus, which was used as a vector for this crop. In the practical part of this thesis, the whole infection process was demonstrated; from the work with plasmids containing the virus, transformation of E. coli and A. tumefaciens, agroinfiltration of N. benthamiana, fluorescent microscopy, all the way to imbibition of wheat seeds and confirming of said infection by fluorescent microscopy, thanks to the gfp gene the virus contained and expressed.
