Chestertona a Karla Čapka se zabývá detektivními prózami Gilberta Keitha Chestertona a Karla Čapka, tím, jak rozuměli detektivnímu žánru (potažmo populární literatuře, do níž se detektivky řadí) a jak jej ve svých, většinou povídkových, prózách realizovali. Poslední část práce je tvořena komparativními analýzami několika vybraných shodných či podobných motivů a témat v detektivkách K. Čapka a G. K. Chestertona.. -- Abstract: The thesis Detective Story in Concept od G. K. Chesterton and K. Čapek deals with detective prosis of G. K. Chesterton and K. Čapek, with their theoretical concept of detective story and with the way they carry them out. The third chapter compares their concepts of detective stories and the last chapter compares several similar motives and topics, which can be found in their works.
