The aim of the diploma thesis is to get acquainted with the data analysis in high energy physics with the ATLAS experiment at the LHC collider at CERN, from simulation to real data, focusing on the physics of top quark pairs with the high transverse momentum by studying events with high momentum transfer and comparing the measured spectra to theoretical predictions.
