Centrální téma této diplomové práce představují dialekty. Teoretická část práce objasňuje základní sociolingvistické a dialektologické pojmy, dále jsou zde charakterizovány německé dialekty a popsána specifika stření bavorštiny. V praktické části je proveden dialektologický průzkum v dolnorakouské pohraniční obci Schrattenberg,který se zaměřuje na lexikální odlišnosti místního dialektu.The central theme of this thesis represents dialects. The theoretical section explains the basic sociolinguistic and dialectological concepts; further there are also characterized German dialects, and the specifics of Central Bavarian language are described. The dialectological survey in the Lower Austrian border village Schrattenberg, which focuses on the lexical diversity of the local dialect, is carried out in the practical part of the thesis.
