Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit na základě analýzy a interpretace stěžejních témat románu Předčítač, jaký přínos má román pro dnešní společnost, a to především pro žáka střední školy. Román se ujal na německých a rakouských středních školách jako povinná literatura, a tudíž má vliv na velké množství mladých lidí. V praktické části jsou použity následující metody: rešerše recenzí žáků, průzkum na dvou středních školách a pro-kontra-argumentace přínosu románu.Aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze and interpret fundamental topics of novel Předčítač written by Bernhard Schlink in order to find out the contribution of this novel to the modern society, mainly to the high school students. This book is compulsory for the students of German and Austrian high schools, and therefore has an influence on wide range of young people. In the practical part of the thesis, these following methods are being used : research of reviews written by students, inquiry among students of two high schools, pro and con analysis of novels contribution.
