Tato diplomová práce se zabývá regionálními disparitami zemí Visegrádské skupiny na úrovni regionů NUTS 2 s důrazem na jejich vývoj v období vstupu do Evropské unie. Jednotlivé disparity budou popsány pomocí zvolených ukazatelů, v závěru bude nastíněn také celkový stav regionů pomocí souhrnného indexu disparit a shlukové analýzy. Pro ucelenější pohled na celou problematiku se část práce zaměří na podobu regionální politiky v zemích Visegrádské skupiny a na fungování a výsledky evropské kohézní politiky.This diploma thesis analyses regional disparities in countries of the Visegrad Group at the level of regions NUTS 2 with accent on their progress in time in period of accession to the EU. Particular disparities will be desribed using chosen indicators and then general level of the regions will be described using complex index of disparities and cluster analysis. For better view of whole issue part of the thesis will analyses regional policy in countries of the Visegrad Group and European cohesion policy.
