Cílem této bakalářské práce je podat informace o terapeutických účincích hipoterapie, doplňkové metody fyzioterapie, na lidský organismus. Konkrétně se zaměřuje na pacienty trpící roztroušenou sklerózou mozkomíšní. V první části práce je popsána roztroušená skleróza, její historický vývoj, etiopatogeneze a hlavně příznaky, které se postupem nemoci u pacientů objevují. Zmíněna je i diagnostika, farmakoterapie a škály hodnotící tíži postižení nemoci. Hlavní část práce je pak věnována hipoterapii a jejím účinkům. V této práci jsou vysvětleny základní pojmy užívané v hipoterapii a zařazení hipoterapie v rámci animoterapie a fyzioterapie. Dále jsou popsány specifické účinky hipoterapie a vymezení indikací a kontraindikací. Jedna část práce je věnována i analýze pohybu koně v kroku. Samostatná kapitola pak pojednává i o popisu účinků hipoterapie na některé klinické projevy spojené s roztroušenou sklerózou.The objective of this thesis is to provide information on the therapeutic effects of hippotherapy, the complementary method of physiotherapy, on the human organism. Specifically, it focuses on patients suffering from cerebrospinal multiple sclerosis. The first part describes multiple sclerosis, its historical development, etiopathogenesis and in particular the symptoms of patients appearing as the disease progresses. It also mentions diagnostics, pharmacotherapy and scales for the evaluation of the severity of the disease. The main part is devoted to hippotherapy and its effects. This thesis explains the basic concepts used in hippotherapy and the categorization of hippotherapy within animotherapy and physiotherapy. It further describes the specific effects of hippotherapy and defines the indications and contraindications. One part of the work is also devoted to the analysis of a walking horse. A separate chapter discusses the effects of hippotherapy on certain clinical manifestations connected with multiple sclerosis.
