Tato práce se zabývá obrazem druhého v anglickém dramatu v letech 1580-1640, který byl raně novověkými dramatiky většinou záměrně konstruován, aby řešil vnitřní problémy země. Tento obraz se v daném období na jedné straně proměňoval v závislosti na aktuálních potřebách společnosti, na straně druhé však podléhal četným stereotypním nálepkám hojně používaných dramatiky.This thesis deals with the image of the other in English drama between 1580 and 1640 which was purposely invented by early modern dramatists to resolve the domestic affairs and problems of the country. On the one hand, this image was transformed according to the contemporary needs of the society, but on the other hand it was under the influence of various stereotypical characteristics often used by the dramatists.
