Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo popsat a porovnat historický vývoj diamantového průmyslu v Antwerpách a Amsterdamu od 15. století až po součastnost. Ve druhé části bylo cílem poukázat na důležitost diamantového průmyslu v celkovém belgickém hospodářství a také v provincii Antwerpy.The aim of this thesis was to describe and make the comparison of the historical development of the diamond trade in Antwerpen and Amsterdam since the 15th century till now. In the second part was the aim to point to the importance of the diamond industry in the whole Belgian economy and also in the province of Antwerpen.
