V této práci sleduji vybrané parametry, charakterizující hnízdění lejska bělokrkého v hnízdních budkách a podle těchto charakteristik se snažím dostat odpověď na otázky, jak ovlivňuje míra predačního rizika hnízdní cyklus lejska bělokrkého. Dominantním predátorem lejska bělokrkého byl plch velký. Zjistil jsem, že zkušenost z predací snižovala velikosti snůšky v následujícím roce, ale nepotvrdil jsem, že by zkušenost z predace ovlivňovala délku hnízdního cyklu a inkubační aktivitu samic.In this thesis I describe selected breeding characteristics of the Collared Flycatcher, nestig in nest boxes and, according to these characteristics, I present some of the hypotheses about nest predation and behavioural adaptations to the breeding cycle. Edible Dormouse was the dominant predator of the Collared Flycatcher nests. I found out that the experience of predation reduced clutch size in females in the following year. Although, there was no evidence that the experience of predation affected the length of the nesting cycle and the incubation activity of females.
