Občanská společnost byla významným prvkem, který ovlivnil proces demokratizace v Tunisku. Hlavním cílem práce je analyzovat její aktivitu v průběhu tranzice k demokracii, tj. období revolučních měsíců v roce 2011 až po úspěšné dokončení ústavodárného procesu v roce 2014. Práce představuje role, které v procesu sehrála občanská společnost a zapříčinila tak úspěšnou tranzici k demokracii. Dále se práce zabývá procesem konsolidace demokracie a uvádí tři oblasti, které by mohly představovat problém pro její úspěšnou konsolidaci.Civil society was one of the main factors that ultimately led to a successful democratisation in Tunisia. The main aim of this thesis is to analyse the role of the civil society in the process of transition to democracy, i.e. since the beginning of the revolution in 2011 until the successful adoption of the constitution in 2014. Furthermore, this thesis specifies different roles that the civil society played throughout the process of transition to democracy that made the transition successful. The last part of the thesis is concerned with the prospects of democratic consolidation in Tunisia and suggests that there are three main factors, that could potentially lead to deterioration of democracy.
