Mediální obraz Romů v Prostějovském Večerníku [rukopis] / Dominika Bittnerová. -- 2015. -- 45 + 1*CD. -- Ved. práce Jaroslav Šotola. -- Oponent Mario Polo Rodríguez. -- Abstract: Cílem této práce je popsat jak zobrazoval Prostějovský Večerník Romy žijící a působící v Prostějově a okolí v období srpen 2013 leden 2014. V tomto období čelil Večerník obvinění z rasismu, jak ze strany veřejnosti, tak ze strany neziskových organizací. Teoretická část se bude věnovat mediální konstrukci reality, konceptu Bergera a Luckmanna. Rovněž bude pracovat s pojmy mediální objektivity a stereotypu. Stereotyp bude zasazen do mediálního prostředí, tedy především vzniku a zpracování stereotypu ve zpravodajství a přenosu od tvůrce mediálního obsahu k příjemci. Také se budeme zabývat konceptem "nového rasismu" Teuna van Dijka. Praktická část práce bude kvantitativní analýzou článků vydané v daném periodiku za určité období. Zjistíme kolik článků bylo vydáno a v jakém kontextu byli Romové zobrazeni. Na základě získaných informací se pokusí popsat, jak jsou Romové prezentováni obyvatelům Prostějova.. -- Abstract: The aim of this work is to describe how Prostějovský Večerník portrayed gypsies living and occuring in Prostějov and its surroundings during the period of August 2013 to January 2014. During this period, the Prostějovský Večerník had been facing accusations of racism not only from the general public but non-profit organisations as well. The theoretical part will address media's construction of reality, the concept of Berger and Luckmann. It will also include the concept of media concepts of objectivity and stereotypes. Stereotype is set into media environment, especially aiming at the beginning and processing of stereotype at news reporting and its transmission from the creator of media content to the receiver. We will also inquire into concept of "new racism" of Teun Van Dijk. The practical part of this work is quantitative analysis of articles published in the papers during a certain period. It discovers how many articles had been published and in what context have been Gypsies portrayed. Based on the acquired information, it will attempt to describe how gypsies are portrayed to the Prostějov's residents.
