Práce se zaměřuje na vybrané aktivizační metody pro seniory ve Zlínském kraji. Zabývá se cílovou skupinou seniorů, procesem stárnutí a stáří, komunikací se seniory, gerontologií a geriatrií, seznamuje se sociálními službami pro seniory, jednotlivými aktivizačními metodami pro seniory a zaměřuje se na popis 2 zařízení ve Zlínském kraji a to Uherské hradiště a Otrokovice. Jedná se o práci, která zdůrazňuje aktivizační metody jako výraznou a důležitou techniku v péči o seniory. Prostřednictvím výzkumného šetření zjišťuje působení vybraných aktivizačních metod na uživatele domovů pro seniory. V rámci výzkumného šetření byly realizovány rozhovory s pracovníky aktivizačních metod a s uživateli, kteří dané aktivizační metody navštěvují.The work focuses on selected activation methods for the elderly in the Zlín Region. It deals with the target group of seniors, the aging process and age, communication with the elderly, gerontology and geriatrics, introduces social services for seniors, individual activity methods for seniors and focuses on the description of the two facilities in the Zlín Region- Uherské Hradiště and Otrokovice. The work underlines the activation methods for the elderly as signifiant and important technique in the care of the elderly. Through survey finds effects of selected activation methods on the user's Home for the Elderly. As part of the research were realized interviews with activation methods workers and with people who attend the activation method.
