Ve své diplomové práci jsem se věnovala otázce konkrétnosti a vágnosti ve zpravodajství. Soustředila jsem se zejména na zpravodajství televize Nova a České televize. Rovněž jsem čerpala z denního tisku - Mladé fronty Dnes. Cílem mé práce bylo vysledovat informační kvalitu zpráv, nakolik média předkládají informace konkrétní či vágní, případně v čem se odlišují. V jednotlivých zprávách jsem vyhledávala prostředky, které přispívají na jedné straně ke konkretizaci, na druhé straně ty, které znesnadňují porozumění textu. V jazykových prostředcích televize Nova, České televize i deníku Mladá fronta Dnes lze najít jisté rozdíly, v zásadě se však od sebe výrazně neliší. Dané prostředky slouží k upřesnění informací, ale při jejich nevhodném a bezúčelném užití mohou vyvolat u adresáta (čtenáře) pochybnosti, nejasnosti.My thesis is dealing with the concreteness and vagueness (uncertainty) in the news. I used the news from the televisions Nova and Česká televize, and also from the daily newspaper Mladá fronta Dnes. The aim of my thesis was to find out the information quality of the news with regard to the selected phenomena and if the news give us the concrete or vague information. I tried to find the devices that help to make the news concrete, on the other hand these that complicate the understanding of the text. The linguistic means of televisions Nova and Česká televize, and also the daily newspaper Mladá fronta Dnes can be found as different, but in principle not significantly different from each other. These devices help to specify the information, but when they are used in wrong way, they can influence the recipient's understanding of the text and can evoke the uncertainty, vagueness.
