V posledním desetiletí jsme svědky masivniho pronikání informačních a komunikačních technologií do všech sfér života. Informační a komunikační technologie začínají hrát významnou roli také ve vzdělávání, včetně speciálního vzdělávání žáků se sluchovým postižrním, neslyšících. Moderní technologie, které jsou pro mladou generaci atraktivními a do jisté míry již vlastně i přirozenými zabavnými, pracovními a komunikačními nástroji, mohou v současné době zprostředkovat neslyšícím žákům přístup ke zdrojům informací ve smyslově dostupné formě. To znamená nejenom informace ve vizualizované podobě, jako jsou obrázky, animace, videa, ale taky v podobě textu ve znakovém jazyce. Vedle toho nabizejí relativně širokou škálu komunikačních nástrojů, mezi nimiž má své místo i vzájemná komunikace prostřednictvím znakového jazyka v synchronní i asynchronní podobě. Všechny tyto možnosti tak mohou být vhodně využity v potenciálu e-Iearningového vzdělávání pro tuto cílovou skupinu žáků. Práce se zabývá pravě problematikou využití informačních a komunikačních technologií ve vzdělávání neslyšících žáků na ZŠ pro sluchově postižené v ČR. Zkoumá, jak aktuální interní podmínky škol a míru využívání těchto technologií, tak i míru a potenciál implementace e-Iearningových přístupů do vzdělávacího procesu u neslyšících žáků z hlediska technickéo i personalního.In the last decade, we have witnessed a massive inclusion of information and communication technologies into all spheres of life. Information and communication technologies are beginning to play an important role in education, and the special education of students with hearing impairments, the deaf, is no exception. Modern technologies have become attractive and even, to some extent, natural tools of entertainment, work and communication for the younger generation and they can currently provide access to information sources in a sensorially accessible form for students with hearing impairment. This means information in a visualized form such as images, animations, and videos as well as texts in sign language. Further, they offer a relatively wide scale of communication tools including synchronous and asynchronous two-way communication in a sign language. All these options can be suitably used in the potential of e-Iearning for this group of students. The thesis deals with issues of the use of information and communication technologies in education of deaf pupils in primary schools for the deaf in the Czech Republic. It examines current internal conditions at these schools and the level of use of these technologies, as well as the level and potential of implementation of e-Iearning approaches in the deaf pupils education process in terms of technical equipment and staff.
