Diplomová práce se věnuje analýze v současné době velmi populárního televizního žánru reality TV a způsobům konstruování reality v pořadu 112: V ohrožení života, který je jedním z reprezentantů tohoto žánru v českém mediálním prostředí. Práce se zaměřuje především na vymezení, vznik a vývoj žánru, pokouší se jej zasadit do kontextu mediální konstrukce reality a hybridizace mediálních obsahů a diskutovat jeho místo v rámci konceptu dichotomie realita versus fikce. Prostřednictvím empirického výzkumu se práce snaží odhalit konkrétní strategie a prostředky využívané ke konstruování reality a odkrýt významy sdělení v pořadu 112: V ohrožení života, a to za použití kvalitativních metod pro analýzu textu.The thesis deals with the analysis of a television genre reality TV, which is very popular nowadays and ways of the construction of reality in the programme 112: V Ohrožení života. It is one of the representatives of this genre on the czech media scene. Thesis focuses on the definition, the rise and the development of this genre and tries to contextualize its purposes in the media construction of reality. It also focuses on hybridization of the media contents and discusses its place in the framework of the concept of dichotomy reality versus fiction. Through empirical research the thesis uncovers concrete strategies and means of construction of reality and the meanings of the messages in the programme 112: V ohrožení života, namely by using qualitative methods for the text analysis.
