Tato diplomová práce se zabývá vztahy mezi Evropskou unií (EU) a zeměmi Afriky, Karibiku a Tichomoří (ACP) podle Dohody z Cotonou podepsané v roce 2000. Vzájemné vztahy jsou zasazeny do kontextu nového regionalismu, pro který je typická zvýšená míra meziregionálních vztahů. Příkladem meziregionálních obchodních dohod mezi centrem a periferií jsou Dohody o ekonomickém partnerství (EPA) mezi EU a nově vytvořenými regiony zemí ACP. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce analyzovat současnou podobu vztahů mezi EU a zeměmi ACP a možné důsledky politiky interregionalismu prosazované EU ve vztahu k zemím ACP.This Master of Arts thesis deals with the relationship between the European Union (EU) and the African, Caribbean and Pacific countries (ACP) according to the Cotonou Agreement signed in 2000. The mutual relations are set into context of the new regionalism, for which the increased level of interregional relations is typical. Economic Partnership Agreements (EPA) between the EU and the newly formed ACP regions are the examples of interregional trade agreements between the centre and periphery. The main aim of the thesis is to analyze the current form of the Cotonou Agreement and the potential consequences of the interregionalism policy enforced by the EU in relation to the ACP countries.
