Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na edukaci seniorů v okrese Olomouc. Jedná se o práci teoreticko-empirickou. V teoretické části práce jsou blíže specifikovány klíčové pojmy senior, stáří, kvalitativní faktory života, funkce edukace, cíle edukace, bariéry v edukaci seniorů a další související pojmy. V empirické části byla pomocí analýzy zjištěna nabídka edukačních akcí v okrese Olomouc, konkrétně ve městech Litovel, Šternberk a Olomouc. Poptávka seniorů byla zkoumána dotazníkovým šetřením. Následně byla zjištěná nabídka edukačních akcí porovnána s poptávkou seniorů, vyhodnocena stávající situace ve městech Litovel, Šternberk a Olomouc, s navržena řešení pro odstranění slabých místThis diploma thesis focuses on education of seniors in Olomouc district. This thesis is of theoretical-empirical nature.In the theoretical part, the key terms are closely specified a senior, old age, qualitative factors of life, education functions, education goals, barriers in senior education, and other related terms. In the empirical part, an analysis was used to find out the supply of educational events in Olomouc district, in particular in Litovel, Šternberk, and Olomouc.The education demand of seniors was examined by the questionnaire survey. Subsequently, the supply of educational events was compared with the demand of seniors, the current situation in cities of Litovel, Šternberk, and Olomouc was evaluated including solution proposals for dealing with problematic areas
