Cílem teoretické části je seznámit čtenáře s využitím genetických studií ve sportovních odvětvích, vysvětlit základní genetické pojmy a poukázat na konkrétní geny spojované se sportovní výkonností, na jejichž základě je možný výběr dětských talentů. Dále se zabývá genetickým dopingem, který zneužívá moderní lékařské technologie k neterapeutickým účelům. V závěrečné části se autor zaměřil na etnické skupiny a jejich dominantní znaky v jednotlivých sportovních disciplínách.The author's bachelor thesis provides information about genetic aspects of the sport. The goal of a theoretical part is to present all important genetic studies in the sports and explain the basic genetic concepts and highlight specific genes associated with sporting performance on the basis of the possible selection of children's talents. It also deals with genetic doping, that exploits modern medical technology for non-therapeutic purposes. In the final part, the author focuses on the ethnic groups and their dominant characteristics in individual sports.
