(91 855 znaků) + 1 CD. -- Oponent Sabine Eschgfäller. -- Ved. práce Lukáš Motyčka. -- Abstract: Tato práce se zabývá analýzou a interpretací vypravěče v románech Vyhlazení a Mýcení od Thomase Bernharda a recepcí těchto románů. Důraz je kladen na sebereflexi vypravěče, jeho sebekritiku, stylizaci a metanaraci, které tvoří první část práce. V druhé části je zkoumáno přijetí vypravěče vedlejšími postavami a vzájemný vztah vypravěče a postav. Třetí část se soustředí na přijetí vypravěče čtenáři a odhaluje důvody k tak časté záměně fiktivního vypravěče s reálným autorem. Právě ztotožnění Thomase Bernharda s jeho fiktivními vypravěči vedlo k vášnivým reakcím čtenářů. Prozkoumání stylistických a autobiografických znaků děl se snaží vysvětlit zdánlivé splynutí fikce a reality. Jednotlivé části proto spojuje teze o důvěryhodnosti vypravěče.. -- Abstract: This work deals with analysis and interpretation of the first person narrator in the novels Extinction and Woodcutters by Thomas Bernhard and with perception of these novels. The focus is put on the self-reflection of the narrator, his self criticism, stylization and metanarration, which all create the first part of the work. In the second part, the mutual relationship between the narrator, i.e. the major character, and the minor characters is explored as well as the other character?s perception of the narrator. The third part concentrates on the reader?s reception of the narrator and reveals the reasons for the relatively common switch of the fictional narrator with the real author. It is this identification of Thomas Bernhard with his fictional narrators that led to the passionate reactions of the readers. The research of stylistic and autobiographical features of the novels tries to explain the apparent fusion of fiction and reality. The individual parts are therefore connected with the thesis of the narrator?s credibility.
