[rukopis] / Tomáš Šilhánek. -- 2012. -- 83 s. -- Ved. práce Jan Stejskal. -- Abstract: Práce zkoumá projekt Galileo, budoucí globální družicový polohový systém (GNSS) Evropské unie. Popisuje vývoj tohoto projektu od 90. let do současnosti. V úvodu vysvětluje co to GNSS je a dále popisuje jiné aktuální systémy tohoto druhu. Cílem práce je najít odpovědi na následující hlavní otázky. 1. Z jakých důvodů začala EU vývoj Galilea? 2. Jsou to důvody spíše politické nebo ekonomické? 3. Jak se tyto důvody měnily časem? Závěr práce obsahuje souhrn získaných poznatků.. -- Abstract: This thesis is about the Galileo program, which will be EU´s future Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS). It follows Galileo from the early 90s up until very recently. The introduction familiarizes the reader with what GNSS is and what other systems there are. The goal of this thesis is to answer the following research questions. 1. What are the main reasons for starting Galileo? 2. Were those reasons of a political or commercial nature? 3. How have those reasons changed over time? The conclusion then summarizes the findings made.
