V diplomové práci jsem se zabýval rozpuštěním Parlamentu ve vybraných evropských státech. Cílem bylo zvolit zkoumané státy, popsat důvody rozpuštění a porovnat je. Zvolil jsem ČR a SR, protože oba státy patří mezi státy evropské. Dále vychází ze stejné historie a již přes dvacet let jsou rozděleny a proběhl zde odlišný vývoj. Abych se mohl důkladně zabývat institutem rozpuštění, nezvolil jsem proto států víc. V obecné části jsem nastínil problematiku Parlamentu a parlamentarismu a historický vývoj rozpuštění na území ČR a SR. V části zvláštní jsem popsal jednotlivé Parlamenty, důvody rozpuštění, problematiku ad hoc ústavních zákonů a jak je využíváno rozpuštění v případě mimořádných stavů. V závěru jsem se pokusil o srovnání jednotlivých důvodů a možnosti úpravy v ČR a SR.I focused on the dissolution of the Parliament in chosen European countries in my thesis. The goal was to choose countries for closer inspection, describe the reasons of dissolution and compare them. I selected Czech Republic and Slovak Republic, because both countries belongs to the European countries. Both selected countries have almost identical history, but in last years both of them got through different development because they are separated for twenty years.To focus closely at institute of dissolution I did not selected more countries than those two mentioned above. In general part I introduced the issues of Parliament and Parliamentarianism and the historical development of dissolution in both countries. In special part I described the Parliaments, reasons of dissolution, issues ad hoc of fundamental law and what and how the dissolution is used in the case of extraordinary conditions. In conclusion I tried to compare the reasons and possibilities of change in Czech Republic and Slovak Republic.
