Diplomová práca rozoberá problematiku starostlivosti o ťažko chorého a zomierajúceho človeka v dnešnej spoločnosti, v podmienkach rodiny a zdravotníckych inštitúcii v Slovenskej republike. Zákonom garantované práva ťažko chorých a zomierajúcich, keď sa títo čoraz viac stávajú bremenom pre súčasnú spoločnosť, je potrebné preniesť do praxe a postaviť tak hrádzu čoraz väčšiemu morálnemu úpadku spoločnosti, ktorá kráča od kultúry života ku kultúre smrti, o čom svedčí neutíchajúci boj za uzákonenie eutanázieThe diploma thesis deals with the care about seriously ill and dying person in the contemporary society, in the conditions of family and health care institutions in the Slovak Republic. The right of the seriously ill and dying persons is guaranteed in the law, so when they are becoming the burden of the present society it is needed to shift this law into practice. Consequently, the barrier to enlarging the moral deterioration of the society will be built. Today´s society is on the way from the culture of life to the culture of death what is supported by the constant battle for making euthanasia a law.
