Epiziotomie je nejčastější porodnickou operací, která se provádí ve II. době porodní. První záznamy jsou z 18. století, do běžné praxe byla zavedena ve století 20. Cílem této bakalářské práce bylo zjistit, jak byla epiziotomie v české odborné literatuře popisována, jak se měnily názory českých porodníků na její provádění a indikace a kdy ji porodní asistentky mohly začít provádět samostatně. Práce se také zabývá důležitým úkolem porodních asistentek, chráněním hráze při porodu. Ve druhé části je popsáno současné rozdělení epiziotomií a její definice a stručně jsou popsány nejnovější poznatky, výzkumy a doporučení. Součástí práce je i statistické šetření, které se týká počtu prováděných epiziotomií ve zlínské porodnici v letech 1950 ? 2010.The episiotomy is the most common obstetric operation, which is carried out in the second birth time. We have the first records of episiotomy from the 18 th century and the normal practice was introduce in the 20 century. The goal of this bachelor thesis was found the description of episiotomy in the Czech professional literature, the changes of the opinions of the Czech obstetricians to implementation and idication to the episiotomy and when midwives could start to do by themselves. The thesis deals with the impotant task of the midwives, protecting the perineum. In the second part it is described the current distribution of the episiotomy and its definition and it is described the newest knowledges, researches and recommendations. The part of the work is a statistical survey, how many episiotomies performed in the Zlin´s maternity hospital in 1950-2010
