Bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem geografické vzdálenosti na náplň trávení společného volného času mezi prarodiči a jejich vnoučaty. Dále se práce zabývá dopadem vzdálenosti na kvalitu tohoto mezigeneračního vztahu. Celkem má práce šest kapitol. Prvních pět z nich v teoretické rovině rozebírá stárnutí jako takové, možnosti využití volného času seniorů, také se tu zaobíráme dětstvím, jeho periodizací a možnostmi využití volného času dětí a mládeže. Teoretická část práce je zakončena stručným pohledem na prarodičovství v průběhu historie. Šestá kapitola je praktická. Pomocí výzkumného šetření se tu snažíme zmapovat jakou roli sehrává právě geografická vzdálenost na vztahy mezi prarodiči a vnoučaty.The Bachelor?s thesis treats with an influence of geographic distance on spending common leisure time of grandparents and their grandchildren. In addition, the thesis deals with an impact of the distance on a quality of the intergenerational relationship. Whole thesis has six chapters. First five theoretically analyze aging as such and possibilities of spending senior?s leisure time as well. Also, we are concerned with childhood, a periodization of childhood and possibilities of spending children?s and youth?s leisure time. The theoretical part of the thesis is closed with a brief view into grandparenting during history. Sixth chapter is a practical one. Have used an experimental examination, we try to show the role of the geographic distance in relationships between grandparents and their grandchildren.
